Lions - (See more info under Voltron) All have power cells and an ejection seat. Can go mach 5 - maybe faster. Each lion has a separate anti-gravity device controlled by one computer but operate independently. At the heart of the anti-gravity computer is an energy crystal. When the lion unite the energy crystal is what gives Voltron balance. Except for blue lion, the lions don’t fight well underwater. They use hydrovents for underwater pursuits. Water reduces the lions’ laser powers. When the lions are in a choke hold, they have little power. All lions have thermo shields, sensor defenses, infra red, ultra violet, radar, sight finders, cross scanners, and static probes.

King Alfor - Allura’s father who is dead. His last request was that the 5 keys of the lions be placed in the tomb with him and the keys were. He is in a tomb under the castle. He created Voltron and always believed he could defend them. He also probably had the help of scientists to create Voltron because at the time Arus had the most advance scientists in the galaxy. Many years ago he had tunnels dug in case of attack. A tunnel leads to the castle. Zarkon took Alfor’s life, but not his spirit. Alfor was killed by Zarkon when Alfor led the ancient lion warriors against Zarkon and Zarkon killed Alfor in the Valley of Zohar (probably on Planet Arus). Alfor had a golden shield. Alfor has the power to cope with Witch Hagar’s magic. Prince Bokar (after Voltron force was on Arus) tried to take off with blue lion, but he couldn’t start it and it seemed like King Alfor was causing the lion not to start. He speaks to Allura often when she visits his tomb. Alfor revealed that he had created the lions and he established their power sources as being uniquely different from each other and from nature: black lion powered by lightning (although VTD calls it the lion of air and space), blue lion by water, yellow lion is the lion of earth and I think it's powered by magma -- I think it gets its energy from the earth's mantle, red lion by the heart of a raging fire -- such as something like lava because although it's not really fire it's hot enough, and green lion by wind (although VTD calls it the lion of life). He had created the lions’ power sources as all being from nature.When the lions combine as Voltron, they give Voltron his mighty strength and endurance to cope with any form (although fighting underwater is a weakness of Voltron despite water being blue lion's power source). King Alfor was also a part of the Astro Knights - I think he was their leader. Stride, the tiger fighter, was also a part of the Astro Knights at one time. There is a planet of tiger fighters and Stride flies a tiger fighter. On an eclipse on Arus called the Eclipse of King Alfor anything can happen.

Allura’s mom - She is dead. No mention is said of her name. She must have been still alive when Allura was 6 because to me Allura looked about 6 years old in an episode that flashed back to showing her as a little girl playing with the mice and I think her mom was mentioned and therefore was still alive at the time. Her grave is a platform on bare ground (like in a desert area) with steps leading up to it - kind of reminds me of Egyptian style.

Allura - Can understand mice. They kept her company when she was a child and her parents were always busy. According to Hagar, the secret to restoring Voltron was known by one other person who was Allura because she consults the ghost of King Alfor, and she gave the secret to the 5 explorers who escaped Zarkon. Once she died in Voltron and was revived at the end of the universe and given a choice by an angel-like creature of going on to a world beyond the universe with eternal happiness or going back to defend Arus and she chose to go back and she had that choice because of her pure heart. Nanny taught Allura respect when she was young. She has fainted at the sight of a snake when its eyes glowed. As I remember it, only Coran and Keith have ever referred to the princess as Allura although Lance has called her Princess Allura before. Alfor speaks to her often when she visits his tomb. She flies blue lion and has also flown black lion. Her mom is dead - see more about her under Allura’s mom. Learned some judo from Keith. It has been said by characters of Voltron that Princess Allura is a solid young woman, smart, attractive, self giving. This makes her popular to her people. Allura is cautious and concerned for others. She handles defense duties and affairs of state. She took everyone’s problems to heart and has a special concern for children. She speaks in defense of troubled persons, her compassion shows. She likes music and dancing. Idlists (I’m not sure what that word was supposed to be) bore her like gossip. Allura isn’t afraid of much of anything." Has been to the dimension of Infinity through Merla’s cosmatron - a dimension of sight, sound, and pain (see more under Merla). Knows how to communicate with 50 different planets, but there are hundreds more. Wears a time watch when in space uniform. Can’t be coronated Queen until she is married. Loves her best friends Keith, Lance, Hunk, and Pidge more than anything in the world.

Queen Orla - Princess Allura’s aunt and her mom’s sister. Allura and Coran thought she had died, but she didn’t.

Hunk - doesn’t get along with animals too well. Is good friends with Pidge. In at least one episode he has referred to the princess as Allura before. Eats a lot. Is afraid of heights. Has the biggest feet on the team. Once wrestled a lion cub. Once he died in Voltron and was revived at the end of the universe and given a choice by an angel-like creature of going on to a world beyond the universe with eternal happiness or going back to defend Arus and he chose to go back and he had that choice because of his pure heart. Hunk has been so upset with Keith before that he actually grabbed the material of the front collar of Keith’s jumpsuit and lifted him up in the air (after they were on Arus). Lifts weights. Learned some judo from Keith. Is always ready for a fight. Does have history with having a mission on another planet before being on the Voltron force and if I remember right it was Planet Zaul. If that’s the case, then here’s some info on Zaul. It’s a planet where people have horseroos - an animal they ride with the head of a horse and the body of kangeroo. It’s a desert planet with lazon which is radio active. No life there for a millennium (or so they thought). But early space explorers were right when they claimed that there was a secret race of people still living there underneath the surface of the planet. The Darian built the place underneath. They were an advanced race that lived there many eons ago. Then they suddenly vanished and no one knows why. The new people rebuilt the city. They live underground to be safe from Zarkon who destroyed their world (after the Darians) once with scorch rays and it was Prince Lotor’s first command. (Question: why was it thought that there was no life there for a millennium if Lotor just recently - probably less than 10 years - had the planet scorched? Perhaps outside races hadn’t come upon the planet until after what Lotor and his forces did and since they didn’t know what had been done, just thought there had been no life there for a millennium from the looks of the planet - perhaps it had been that badly scorched that it seemed life had been gone from the planet that long.) Omnia (a woman on Zaul - long O in her name) lost her family to the destruction caused by Zarkon and the underground city is dedicated to them - they surviving people had discovered the underground city. After help from Voltron, they get to go back to the surface of the planet.

Sven - Said he’d always think vultures were beautiful. Seemed to be using a meditation process against Hagar when when she had split into a circle of witches and he couldn’t tell which was the real one. He closed his eyes and used his left hand with palm vertical to cross from right to left and then from up to down. His hair turns white and he turns dark like a picture negative while his eyes are still closed. Hagar becomes one and Sven says "I can sense your true presence" and runs toward her with eyes still closed ready to cur her with the metallic sword he was holding. Sven was hurt by Hagar and her cat and a human sized (except bigger) robeast on Arus. He was taken to Planet Ebb to be cared for, but then it was attacked and people there, including Sven, were taken away as slaves to Planet Doom. On Doom Sven was too weak to move so they left him without food or water. He escaped to the caves on Doom. Sven thought he was a failure and didn’t even want to contact the Voltron force again, but for Romelle he did because he was the only one who knew the codes. For more info, also see Romelle. Keith once said "Sven is Voltron’s right arm. We’ve got to take the lions without him" and I’m not sure what Keith meant by that since Sven was Voltron’s right leg. Sven is an Earthling (or at least it was said he looked like one). He was the best navigator in the Alliance. Seems to sense when danger is about to happen - such as when he pushed Allura out of the way from being hit by laser fire (I think I got that bit of insight from Rachel’s or Shannon’s site). Keith - Comes from Earth and plans to return someday. Once he died in Voltron and was revived at the end of the universe and given a choice by an angel-like creature of going on to a world beyond the universe with eternal happiness or going back to defend Arus and he chose to go back and he had that choice because of his pure heart and he commented that they had experienced what it was like to be on the edge of another world. Has been known to call the princess by her name Allura before (only Hunk has also done this, but only once. Lance has referred to her as Princess Allura before) . Has kissed Allura before on the hand. He can fly any of the lions. Lance and Sven are his good friends. He’s been known to ask for Lance’s opinion in times of indecision "What do you think, Lance?" Once Keith battled Lotor for a chance for peace on Arus but Lotor knocked Keith unconcious by cheating. Hunk has called him Chief and Pidge has called him skipper. He knew judo and taught others on the team. Keith told Sven he would always be a part of the Voltron force even though he went to live on Pollux. Once he understood one of the mice when Pidge didn’t. As a small child (maybe 6 or younger?) his scariest experience had something to do with getting lost in a forest.

Lance - Once he died in Voltron and was revived at the end of the universe and given a choice by an angel-like creature of going on to a world beyond the universe with eternal happiness or going back to defend Arus and he chose to go back and he had that choice because of his pure heart and after that experience he said he’d never be the same after that and that he thought he then understood what was really important. Seems to sense when Witch Hagar or her cat or any of Hagar’s magic is about (ex. Could see Prince Bokar had a snake in his sleeve as though seeing right through his sleeve and there are many other examples). He has been kissed by Allura before on the cheek. Learned some judo from Keith. He flies red lion and has also flown blue lion. Keith is a good friend. Lance grew up in the mountains, then Zarkon came and destroyed their homes. Lance used to be just a country boy who lived in a hut. Also seems to me that the original 72 episodes mentioned that all of Lance’s family was killed and that this wasn’t only mentioned in V-3D. Lance’s suspicions are usually correct. He’s never referred to the princess as just Allura, but has referred to her as Princess Allura before.

Pidge - Has called himself an Earth man before. His home planet is Planet Balto which was destroyed by Zarkon after Pidge was a part of the Voltron force (the whole planet exploded). Once he died in Voltron and was revived at the end of the universe and given a choice by an angel-like creature of going on to a world beyond the universe with eternal happiness or going back to defend Arus and he chose to go back and he had that choice because of his pure heart - although when he thought about the choice of paradise he thought of how "Maybe I’d see my family again" and my conjecture is that he must be referring to his family before his adoptive parents because his family escaped Planet Balto before it was destroyed and his brother Chip is alive and part of the teams for Vehicle Voltron and Pidge’s kid sister escaped Planet Balto (or she was on Earth at the time because she has stayed with space explorers on Earth before). In fact everyone had escaped Planet Balto, but Pidge needs to find where his family escaped to. Pidge was an orphan once. Knows how to make friends with wild creatures (ex. a carrier hawk came down to him when he whistled and landed on his arm). Hunk is a good friend. He’s best at climbing, jumping, and acrobatics. He’s a gymnist. He’s left handed. His brother Chip is his twin (this was on a Vehicle Voltron episode) and according to Alexis, it’s been mentioned as in the series that Chip is his younger brother. Pidge and Chip used to study solar power as a hobby. Pidge likes to train animals to do tricks. Pidge has been to Planet Nanose - the nights there last 60 days according to a Vehicle Voltron episode. He can understand the mice and often talks to them.

Tammy - A little girl on Arus who reminded Pidge of his kid sister. She helped the Voltron force by dressing up as Pidge, and she got to ride in green lion. She wants to be a space explorer when she grows up. She told the Voltron force not to forget their promise (or she was telling Allura), but I don’t know what promise that was.

Coran - Castle diplomat and trusted advisor. Marshall Graham referred to him as his friend. Was able to activate some of Voltron’s systems by remote control. Only Coran and Keith I think have referred to the princess as Allura before although Lance has called her Princess Allura before. Has flown blue lion with Nanny with him, but said it wasn’t his line of work (this was after the Voltron force was on Arus). Professor Sarwa is an old friend of Coran’s but I don’t know anything else about this professor - perhaps he was Marianne’s father and she lives on Planet Caspia which is the most beautiful planet of the Salurian Quadrant (not sure about spelling on that one) and she is the greatest scientist in the galaxy - a genius with making robots. Here’s more info about Coran from Shannon Muir: (Garrett is his son and his wife is Leda. When Garrett was a baby, he and his mom were forced to evacuate the castle in a terrible attack. They fled to the mountains and got help from Runan, who used his magic mental powers to call forth a star fleet from another dimension called Elsu. Leda and Garrett live safely in Elsu, a secret shared only by Runan and Allura. The others were told mother and child were dead, the same ruse Runan’s people told Zarkon. Once Hagar used her magic to create an evil clone of Garrett who was in the castle, but Allura was able to reveal him as a phony - this was after the Voltron force was on Arus.) As I remember it, I think the dimension Garrett and Leda went to is one they can’t return from. Can sort of understand the mice.

Nanny - She came back to the castle after she heard rumors that Voltron was back and she rushed to see - what I wonder is if this is any hint as to why she left the castle in the first place. Nanny had come back to the castle to work and to be like a mother to the princess again. She is the royal governess. She taught Allura respect when she was young. Nanny has friends in a village near Claw Mountain and there are many possible candidates for flying there who are brave intelligent men. Nanny knows how to row a boat. Some of the food she makes is her famous space casserole and astro cake. She does not prefer mice. She has fainted at the sight of a snake. In the castle she has taken care of injured people. After the Voltron force was on Arus, one time Nanny flew in blue lion with Coran. She has been called Betta before so that is probably her first name.

Space mice - They can find a way to get through solid rock and can basically chew through anything. Used to entertain Allura when she was a small child. They can always see through Hagar’s disguises. They know more castle secrets that the Prime Minister. They always want to travel. They have a spaceship airplane they can fly and use for defense. Cheesy is the oldest and the leader of the mice. Other mice names that have been mentioned include: Zukie (blue mouse and one of the bravest of the mice), Chitter, Pip, Squeak, Cheddar, Prince.

Prince Bandor - Has a Star Fleet and once used it to put the Omega Comet on a course away from Arus by having his fleet pouring out all its arsenal on the comet. Princess Romelle and Prince Avok are his older sister and brother, but the oldest, Prince Avok, was lost as a robeast into the sea on Pollux. Commands Star Fleet 11, but he lost the hole fleet during his tangle with the Omega Comet. See Voltron for more info.

Princess Romelle - Proncess on Planet Pollux. Prince Bandor and Prince Avok are her brothers, but Prince Avok (her older brother) was lost as a robeast into the sea on Pollux. She looks a lot like Princess Allura and they are distant cousins (after all they at least trace back to the first king of Arus who sent one of his sons away to Pollux which would be Romelle’s family line and Allura’s family line is from the King’s son who stayed on Arus.) Romelle was thrown into the Pit of Skulls when she wouldn’t be Lotor’s queen. Sven, who had been living in the caves on Doom, helped Romelle back to the surface of the planet. She’s the only one who has survived the Pit of Skulls. She saved Voltron from the Iron Maiden with Sven’s navigation skills by breaking the maiden’s hold on Voltron by hitting it with a stolen Doom slave ship. Because of her, she saved Sven from really going mad. She and Sven promised that one day they would free the slaves of Planet Doom and later they did. For more info, also see Sven. She’s the only one who knows the key to Planet Pollux’s secret defense system. Her father is King Coba who went mad (see info on King Coba). There is no mention of Romelle’s mother.

Marshall Graham - Seems to be the top person in command of the entire Galaxy Alliance. He called Coran "my friend" so they must be friends. Graham is in the Planet Mira episode and he’s been shown in at least one other Lion Voltron episode if not more.

Voltron force - Coran had declared them the Voltron force. Before that they had been tattooed as slaves on Planet Doom. Before that they had been in tight fixes together before. After they were the Voltron force they were given uniforms they had to wear because they were royal tradition. Coran said something about that it was good to have the uniforms in action again. In the Castle of Lions it has shown the boys sleeping in separate quarters before and it has also showed them all sharing the same sleeping quarters. At least Keith and Hunk are familiar with rock concerts. Before they were the Voltron force, they had been the only ones to have escaped from Zarkon’s slave pit (not the same as the Pit of Skulls).

Planet Bravura - It’s name is an ancient word meaning brave ones. Once Zarkon took it over and renamed it Zarkonia and made the people slaves. Voltron (with the Voltron force) came and freed the planet. Four children on the planet were Ack, Ack’s brother Elby, Trill, and Trill’s sister Tria. They hope to become members of the Voltron force.

Arus - Is millions of light years from Earth. Is the most beautiful planet in the Diamond Galaxy. It is peaceful and used scientific ways of defense. After the Voltron force was there, there was a time that the Omega Comet came near enough to uproot fields, people, and the planet itself before the comet was moved away again and everything on the surface of the planet and under the surface was pulled up toward the comet. The commet had a pulling range of about 1million hectors - I haven’t been able to figure out what a hector is. Planet Morra is also a part of Arus’s history in that the people of Morra once helped Planet Arus (no mention how). People of Morra are peaceful and a threat to no one. But once they were enslaved by King Zarkon and Voltron couldn’t help because it was light years away defending something else. Later, Voltron tried to free them, but the people were mad Voltron didn’t help before and were on Lotor’s side for a while but did change to Voltron’s side and Voltron freed the planet. Planet Arus and Pollux are sister planets. They look alike and it is said that both were made at the same time. The planet were at war since the time of the first king of Arus sent one of his son’s to Pollux while the other ruled Arus. Th first king of Arus has 2 sons. One was peace loving and the other was violent. As the king to die, one son was sad and the other was anxious to take his place. Before he died, the king sent his bad son to Planet Pollux and his desendants there still hold the grudge. That was until Allura made peace with Romelle and Bandor. Then the planets were not at war anymore. When Arus and Pollux had fought, they were really fighting their relatives. The orbit of Pollux and Arus come close to each other every 100 years. Traps are against the law on Arus.

Legend of the Love Bridge - Once (long ago) Altear (a kingdom of Allura’s) and Helena (another kingdom across the water) were at war. All bridges that crossed the water were destroyed. A girl and a boy were in love. But the girl lived in Altear and the boy lived in Helena and they couldn’t be together. They tried to build a bridge by throwing stones into the water. It didn’t seem to work. Then the Goddess of Love helped them and made a magical bridge out of the water to bring them together.

Castle of Lions - Long ago on Planet Arus there was a legend of a Castle of Lions that held the secret of the super robot, Voltron. The Castle of Lions holds the secret of Voltron. The castle has been shown as being on the edge of a cliff. Allura touched the center of her father’s crown (after the Voltron force was on Arus) and a new castle appeared. It has a laser blaster from a balcony. It has a missile room that missiles are stored in. Coran has run up the white flag of surrender up on the castle at least once before - Keith ordered him to. The old castle was replaced by a new castle and this castle could fly as a starship weapon with the code name "Flying Fortress." As the old castle was about to be destroyed, Allura touched the middle of her father’s crown and a new castle appeared out of the ground. The castle has no windows, and has a solar generator. At Ease was an advanced early alarm system of Arus that warned one of anything 200 tikets of the planet instead of just 50 tikets. Castle codes are 14-11-0-8k-0.

Planet Doom - The enemy of all good planets. (Sounds like they leave planets with "bad" people on them alone - Pollux was probably left alone during the time the people of the planet considered the people of Arus to be their enemies, Planet Demose is left alone, and no attempt is made to conquer what Merla has acquired. Zarkon had thoughts of "defeating" the Drule Empire of the Near Universe for himself in "Fleet of Doom" probably because they are really all the same empire (my conjecture) with 2 rulers because it is so vast and out of the thoughts of glory for himself Zarkon is thinking how great he would be if he were its only ruler (again my conjecture). Planet Doom is over 2000 light years from Earth. It is 10 million light years from Arus, but Hagar can travel there in a ship in minutes. In my notes I have written that Voltron once did attack Planet Doom even though Voltron is a defender. Planet Doom had a protective shield that had to be destroyed before Voltron could go through it. Castle Doom is Dark Stone Castle and is located on Lonely Hill.

Planet Demose - Demose and Doom are the two most evil forces in the universe. Zarkon tried to unite forces with them by his son marrying a Princess Corral of Planet Demose, but Lotor wouldn't do it even though she was pretty with long red hair. People of Demose speak a strange sounding language - sounded kind of melodic to me.

Planet Nemone - Millions of miles from Arus. Prince Tabor, Zarkon’s nephew, once ruled it until he was defeated by the help of the Voltron force. For Tabor to be Zarkon’s nephew, I think either his mom or dad must have been a sibling of Hagar who I think is Lotor’s mom which is how Tabor could be Zarkon’s nephew and would look human. Zarkon had conquered Planet Nemone and made the people his slaves. The planet has nemonium which Zarkon used for his superior war machine. The planet is one big desert. The trip there is dangerous with magnetic fields, black holes and meteors.

Zarkon - Princess Allura is the slave he wants most. Loathes screeching birds. He apparently has forces that attack the Alliance everywhere. Zarkon has an urge to revenge himself upon Planet Arus for some reason - I don’t know what was done to him that he wants revenge - perhaps just the fact that he hasn’t been able to conquer it is reason enough to consider insult deserving of revenge according to him. He does have his birthday celebrated, or at least he did at least once - his nephew Prince Tabor did it. He did kill King Alfor - see more under King Alfor. Lotor tried to do away with Zarkon once with a poisoned drink, but Hagar cast a spell on King Zarkon so he can’t be poisoned. Zarkon made Hagar the old crone that she is. See more info under Prince Tabor. Lotor is his only son but he has at least one daughter and at least 2 grandsons. See more info under Lotor. It was Lotor’s royal right to challenge his father to a fight and so he did and lost and Zarkon spared his life because Lotor begged for forgiveness and Hagar talked him out of killing Lotor. Zarkon gets the nuclear power for robeasts from all the many planets he is the master of. Zarkon was the greatest warrior ever and that’s how he got where he is and told Lotor "How od you think I got where I am? I was the greatest warrior ever!" He doesn’t want the son to look too good or the people will make him leader.

Prince Lotor - King Zarkon’s only son. He wanted everything destroyed on Arus by the Omega Comet, even down to the smallest insect and especially including the Castle of Lions which is the thing he hates most. He never liked the word "monster" but "robeast" has a nice ring to it. Says victory is sweeter when you cheat and that he finds honor to be extraordinarily boring. His first command was destroying the world of Zol. See more info about Zol under Hunk. Merla said Lotor’s nephews would be cute with their pointed little ears - I think she was referring to when they were older and it sounded like she had met them before. I’m guessing Lotor’s nephews were still quite young at the time. I’m think he has 2 nephews, but I don’t think it was said. It was in the episode "Zarkon’s Revenge." Since Lotor is Zarkon’s only son, Lotor must have at least one sister for him to have nephews. I guess it is possible that Lotor’s sister is Hagar’s daughter, but has a different father. But I would think that the different father would have to be Drule for Lotor’s nephews to have pointed ears unless they were of some other race that caused them to have pointed ears. I just think it’s more likely that Zarkon is the father of Lotor’s sister. And yet another possibility I guess is that Hagar has a son who’s father is not Zarkon. . I do think that Witch Hagar is Lotor’s mom. See info under Prince Tabor for more info. Once Lotor was king and he had Zarkon put in a robeast that was the strongest one Hagar had ever built. Zarkon survived and Lotor wasn’t king anymore.

Merla - Has a vulture that is a boy and is her guardian. He often sits on Merla’s shoulder. Merla says the vulture knows when people are thinking evil thoughts about her. The vulture can talk. The bird is all bald on head and neck and that part is all brown except for its yellow pupiless eyes. Only women are allowed on Merla’s planet. She is Queen of Darkness which must be the name of her planet. She once captured maidens that were the Muses of Norm (or was it Nord?) and she got them to teach her mental powers. Merla has mental powers and she and the muses can communicate telepathically. She can control people by influencing them with her mental powers. She flies a starcutter (but also has flown a ship shaped like a flying horse). Her favorite quarks are "charmed" (also known scientifically as just know as just "charm" quarks). She was once married to Lotor, but it was broken off . She has (or at least had) a cosmatron that used charmed quarks for sending people to the dimension of Infinity which is a dimension of sight, sound, and pain. Merla said Lotor’s nephews would be cute with their pointed little ears - I think she was referring to when they were older and it sounded like she had met them before. I’m guessing Lotor’s nephews were still quite young at the time. See more under Lotor. Her reign has spread unhappiness throughout the stars. She has a castle on her planet. Dwarflings live on her planet and they often travel with her. The dwarflings I saw had long red hair and black or maybe it was brown hair. She can lift her right eyebrow. She has pink hair that is braided in the back down to her waist. Merla had conquered a thousand planets but was never satisfied so once when her mental powers didn’t seem to have the effect they used to, she decided to try to be good. When she did a tiny act of goodness to save Lotor, she felt happy. When the series ended I wondered if Merla decided to stay good or not. I think she appears to be a slightly light blue than Lotor. Merla once said "People don’t become evil for no reason. They are driven to it. I should know. I was the most evil of all. But I have changed. And so can Lotor."

Coba - Witch Hagar’s cat. Also called Kitty and Pussy Cat and Blue Pussy Cat and Hagar has called him her evil pet. By others has just been called a blue cat. Coba is a devil cat. See more under Witch Hagar.

Coba - Was King of Planet Pollux and Romelle’s (and brothers’) father. He is NOT the same as Hagar’s cat. King Coba went mad after he lost to the Voltron force and lost his son Avok as a robeast into the sea.

Prince Tabor - Zarkon’s nephew who was in charge of Planet Nemone. Zarkon has Yurak do away with Tabor by sword. My conjecture - I believe Prince Tabor had to be Zarkon’s nephew-in-law because Tabor looked human and Zarkon is drule. So I think that either Tabor’s dad or mom had to be from Planet Pollux and were Witch Hagar’s brother or sister. Shannon Muir has mentioned that Lotor’s mother is probably human based on a dream he had. Based on the necklace choker she was wearing in that dream, I think she was royalty from Pollux. I also think she is Witch Hagar and is ugly because Zarkon made her that way. In an episode Hagar says that Zarkon made her ugly.

Witch Hagar -- Long ago Voltron removed the Omega Comet (looks like a comet but act like a black hole) hiding it a far corner of the universe where it could do no harm, but Hagar later found where he had put it, in sector G29. It was controlled by the forces of Doom by using nuclear radiation to surround it. Has told Zarkon that "My only wish is to serve you, sire, in any evil way I can and see you become master of the entire universe." Magic from her staff has been powerful enough to cause Voltron to fall with the Voltron force in him. She was once beautiful, but Zarkon made her the old crone that she is. See more info under Prince Tabor. Once Hagar purposely helped the Voltron force because she was mad with Lotor. She cast a spell on King Zarkon so he can’t be poisoned. Her skin always feels cold. She hates mice. Her cat means a lot to her and is named Coba. She also calls him Kitty and Pussy Cat and Blue Pussy Cat and Hagar has called him her evil pet. By others has just been called a blue cat. Coba is a devil cat. Hagar has a crystal ball to see what’s happening at that time somewhere else. She uses her cat and puts a transmitter on him, but she doesn’t have to use her cat. She can use her crystal ball to talk directly with people. She works magic with her wooden staff but can also cast spells having power come from her hands. It was Lotor’s royal right to challenge his father to a fight and so he did and lost and Zarkon spared his life because Lotor begged for forgiveness and Hagar talked him out of killing Lotor. Her favorite substance is nuclear radiation. Found the Omega Comet - see more info under Voltron. She can disguise herself to look like someone else - once looked like Queen Orla (Allura’s mother’s sister). Has long, black, claw like fingernails. Never throws away anything if it can be useful. Hagar has yellow pupiless eyes and so does her cat. The robot soldiers of Doom also usually have yellow pupiless eyes.

Vehicle Voltron - The following is just a few tid bits about Vehicle Voltron.

Dr. Loran - He made Vehicle Voltron. The Galaxy Alliance has tried to copy it, but it had some secret adaptations Dr. Loran didn’t write down in his plan. He died before he could tell anyone what they were. (I think Dr. Loran also had some contact with Planet Arus when it came to making Voltron).

Ginger - as a small child, she saw an astro ship blowup and had nightmares about it for years afterward.

Crik and Cinda - come from a water planet. They have a sixth sense - premonitions. They often can tell when something is going to happen before it happens. Crik is leader of the Aqua Fighter flown by the sea team.

Chip - Rocky is a good friend. Pidge is his twin brother. See more info under Pidge. Chip is real smart. He’s a brain and knows a lot about science. Pidge and Chip used to study solar power as a hobby.

Jeff - Hates Sammy’s cooking. He has a dog named Rover that he always wanted to name a planet after. He’s leader of the Strato Fighter flown by the air team. He’s also captain of Voltron as an assembled unit and of the entire Voltron force. Once he was assistant captain on the Explorer because Captain Newly had been transferred.

Shannon - His brother was captured by Drules and they put him as a prisoner on Planet Doom.

Cliff - His parents live on Earth. Is leader of the turbo terrain fighter flown by the land team.

Voltron - As a complete unit is indestructible. It has a lithium modulator. After 5 minutes of being a complete unit, Voltron starts to lose it’s power. Voltron has 5 min. of stored thermo nuclear energy

Explorer - A ship carrying Voltron that always must land in water. Its basic mission is scientific research and to find suitable new worlds for the people of their overcrowded galaxy to live on. Commander Hawkins is its commander.

Drule - The Drules home world. Quadrant B belongs to the Drules and it’s their private territory. This planet later self destructs.

Voltron force - They fight for peace for everyone on every planet everywhere.

Commander Hazar - A Drule. He was bad and then he was good. He was also put in jail at one time.The URF (underground rivival force) were freedom fighters trying to free Hazar. Harzar’s sister is Dorma and his father is Mozack.

Commentary: I once had information saying that Hunk had kissed Allura on the lips in the Love Bridge episode. I based that on a little clip seen I had once seen on Cartoon Network where I thought I saw that. I thought they rebuilt the bridge again after Lotor had destroyed it and then went ahead and did a successful reenactment of the legend with Hunk and Allura. But watching the whole Love Bridge episode again I see that Hunk never did get to kiss Allura, so I’ve removed that erroneous information. I have yet to discover for sure what Hunk’s previous missions were before the Arus mission. I will correct the information when I get all the right information gathered together. I took the part out about Bandor becoming ruler of Pollux. The animated episodes don’t make it clear as to whether for sure it’s Romelle or Bandor who’s next in line to rule in the absence of their oldest brother Avok. Fixed the information about Merla and Lotor being just engaged because they were actually married for a short period of time.
