Meanwhile, on Planet Doom, Prince Lotor was fuming to watch all those love plans rendezvous in Haggar's magic crystal ball.
Argh . . . Allura is meant for me. Only I deserve her -- the perfect match, not that fool captain," snarled Lotor while throwing the crystal ball away, breaking it into numerous pieces.
He heard an evil laughter of Haggar making his blood boil more in anger. His hatred for Keith and the obsession to make the princess his bride kept on increasing. Lotor just couldn't imagine his love in the arms of another man. "Allura is mine and no one can take her away from me," snarled the prince again in frustration.
"Ah, now easy my prince. I will certainly use their plan against them," cackled the witch while grinning at Lotor's love sick condition. "Allura will certainly fall in love with you when I cast a special magic spell on her as her greatest Valentine's gift, she'll never forget."
"Oh, yes a SPECIAL MAGIC SPELL," mimicked Lotor while gritting his teeth in anger; "It's your damn stupid magic that never works on my princess and that damn Voltron force. And stop laughing, I hate when you do that, Haggar !!!"
"Don't be so angry my prince, this time I have a far more brilliant plan that will not fail," Haggar explained to the angry prince this time more seriously.
"Very well old witch, but remember that this time I want her in my arms for sure," said Lotor .
Back on Arus, Allura was so excited about tomorrow that she couldn't sleep. She tried very hard to close her eyes and get some rest, but she could not. Over and over again thoughts about Keith were coming into her mind: How she fell in love with him since the very first day she had seen him: standing ahead of his teammates and facing Coran in a bold manner like a leader does, so brave and determined. Although Allura could not see his features clearly as she was standing on top of her royal somewhat ruined castle's stairs as Coran, her adviser, asked her to do; only hearing Keith's voice which was so strong and full of confidence, made her confident that whatever he was saying was the truth: They were truly space explorers, not any imposters from Zarkon. And they have proved themselves to be the protectors of Arus. Before that there had been many princes and kings who offered their help to protect Arus against Zarkon, but they all were either imposters from Zarkon or greedy for Arus's secret technology of Voltron, or greedy for the princess for her legendary beauty. With these thoughts, at last the Arusian princess fell into a deep sleep dreaming only of Keith and herself.
Keith could not sleep the whole night within the cottage by the Love Bridge, and was now watching the sky as the early dawn had changed its color from black to deep blue through his large window. He stayed there all night to make sure that he was at the cottage by the Love Bridge in the morning before Allura was. He opened the window for the cool breeze and inhaled deeply. "Ahhh . . . so refreshing," said Keith to himself. Whether it was the magic of that Valentine's Day or thoughts of Allura's tears of sorrow over losing every happiness she had before the attacks on Arus, Keith felt touched that morning from deep inside his soul.
Suddenly the room filled with a mystical smoke. "Thinking about your Valentine, smart boy," Haggar said as she stepped forward from that mystic smoke.
"Haggar, you," said Keith while wasting no time, tried to grab his gun from the dresser but was paralyzed by Hagger's magical staff.
"Ahhh . . . noooooo. You . . . c can never . . . win, Haggar," Keith cried out while feeling the immense pain in his whole body.
"Surely, Allura will be blessed with love today by you, apparently her greatest desire, but that will be Lotor in disguise as her dearest captain, who will fulfill her desires. And, in return she will be trapped in my magic bubble, as I did to her once before -- except this time it will be forever as my slave," said Haggar cunningly, referring to a time before when she had trapped Allura's spirit inside a magic bubble and hid her in Haggar's Dream Dimension.
"Now, aren't we are getting late for the love show . . . heeehee," said Haggar to Keith.
"I knowww my Allura, sh . . . she will never fall in your traps . . . I knoww her," said Keith with very great difficulty.
"Silly boy!!! You think that Allura has sent you that invitation, hahahha. No it was send by your fool friends," said Haggar as she enjoyed the shocked looked on his face.
Haggar then increased the energy coming from her staff that was paralyzing Keith.
"Ahhhhh!" Keith yelled as the intense pain he'd been feeling was suddenly increased, and then he passed out.
Allura took plenty of time to get herself ready for the meeting with Keith. After taking her bath and drying her long blonde hair, she put on her special valentine's dress. But when she looked at herself in the mirror she couldn't believe her eyes how exquisite she looked. It was as though she was looking at a different Allura because it was so different from anything she had worn before: sleeveless but with red straps decorated with horizontal pleated lacey red material, low cut which tastefully showed a little cleavage, a star of white sparking jewels was right in the center of the top of the bosom of the dress, and then the dress was narrow fitting snuggly to Allura's curves, and ending with elegant looking frilly material starting at about the knees of the dress that flared out -- much like the tail of a mermaid. In fact the style of the dress was that it was a mermaid style dress.
And indeed, her mystic beauty in that dress was just like the magical allure of a mermaid!!!

"Come on little friends, now stop pretending," Allura said to them.
"I must not be late today since Keith doesn't like that habit of mine," said Allura to herself as she did some final touches to her hair and her light makeover.
"Now, that's it. How I am looking now little fellows?" asked the princess proudly to her pets.
The mice cheered out loud, clapping and jumping, expressing their feelings to their princess.
Their excitement made the princess happy too, "Oh, my!!! What a nice start of the day," she said as she covered herself in a long hood, since she did not want to be caught by Nanny of course.
