Story 1 -- Don't Ever Cross the Queen of Darkness
After Lotor had been destroyed, Hagar returns to Planet Doom. She informs King Zarkonof his son's demise before landing on the planet. As Hagar is on her way to the throne room, she brushes by Merla on the way and discovers some interesting information to tell King Zarkon. The king is thrilled that Lotor is gone, until Hagar informs him of the dismal news she had just found out while walking there that Lotor's wife, Queen Merla, is pregnant. Zarkon is sure the baby couldn't be Lotor's, and orders two human-sized robeasts to bring Merla before him at once. The robeasts come back with Merla, and Hagar uses magic to determine whether the baby is Lotor's or not. Of course the baby is Lotor's, and Zarkon is beside himself in dismay. Merla is furious for what Zarkon put her through. She causes the Robeasts to release her, chokes Hagar, and causes Zarkon to topple down the steps from the top of his throne -- all by using mind control. She uses her mind control to hold Zarkon subdued to the floor, and holds a dagar to his throat telling him "Don't ever cross the Queen of Darkness." Then she drops his head, releases her mind control, and simply leaves the throne room. Zarkon cockily tells Hagar that he won't be crossing Merla again.
